A Public Auction Company
The Machinery Auctioneers of Texas story begins in 2002 with Dickerson Machinery, a small family owned
American company with dedicated employees that assisted in connecting enthusiastic buyers with
motivated sellers.
To better meet the needs of all the great buyers and sellers that we have been privileged to work with
through the years, in 2009 the same team that operated as Dickerson Machinery expanded into Machinery
Auctioneers of Texas--a Public Auction company
Since March of 2010 we have produced over 30+ auctions with items ranging from heavy machinery, travel
trailers, work trucks, tractor-trailers, ranch equipment, appliances, golf carts, and more--We'll sell anything
from stramboats to billy goats, as put by founder, Terry Dickerson.
Our vision is to provide public auctions for ALL consumers so that they may enjoy the same pricing
opportunities that dealers have for years.

Meet Our Staff
|

|
|
Terry Dickerson, Founder/Owner/Auctioneer: Terry has actively worked in the auction, heavy machinery, and
promotions industries over the last 35+ years. He has successfully operated numerous machinery rental
stores throughout the United States. In that time he has also established many vital business contacts
within the heavy equipment and trucking industries that actively participate in our auctions today. In addition
to auctioneering Terry is also an equipment trader with a strong passion for his work. When not working,
which is rare, he enjoys spending time at his ranch in Castroville,TX with his wife and fellow auctioneer,
Andrea.
Andrea Sprute-Dickerson; Owner/Auctioneer: Andrea proudly obtained her auctioneering license in 2010
joining a small and elite group of female auctioneers. She has long been an active member of the San
Antonio business community. Outside the auction industry Andrea has worked in land and real-estate
establishing herself as an independent business woman. When not helping advance the efforts of
Machinery Auctioneers, Andrea can be seen out at her ranch most likely riding her favorite horse “Elvis”.

Justin Johnson; Machinery Sales Manager/Ringman: Justin serves as one of our primary inventory
recruiters and ringmen on auction day. He has worked in and around the heavy machinery and tractor-trailer
industries for much of his professional life. He is an active equipment trader and enjoys his work. When not
working the ring or the roads, Justin, his wife, and two kids can be found enjoying quality time together at the
family ranch.
Kurt West; RV Sales Manager: Kurt over-sees all facets of the preparation and sales of the recreational
vehicle division of our organization. Kurt learned the RV business working at American Dream Vacations RV
Center from 2007-2010. In that time Kurt served as the Assistant General Manager over-seeing the day-to-
day operation of rentals, sales, and service. Kurt has also worked in the advertising and business
management industries. He graduated from Texas State University in fall of 2005.
