Q1) Who can attend one of Machinery Auctioneers’ sales?
A1) Anyone and everyone! The public is invited to any sale we have. The public is free to come and buy straight from the source that dealers have enjoyed for years.
Q2) Does it cost anything to register as a bidder?
A2) Absolutely not! You only pay if you buy something at one of our auctions.
Q3) What method of payments are accepted?
A3) Any “certified” funding. This includes cash, credit card, personal/business check with irrevocable letter of credit from your bank, cashiers check, wire transfer
Q4) How much do items usually sell for at auction?
A4) This is a tricky question but generally items sell for 60-70% of retail value at auction in many instances.

Q5) Do multiple items sell one at a time?
A5) Our auction format sells one item at a time right down the line. A designated lot attendant stands next to
each item or bid with a sign reading as such. Never hesitate to ask the auctioneer or other friendly
Machinery Auctioneer staffers to slow down or repeat the action. We are geared to accommodate first time
auciton goers and it is our pleasure to serve you.

Q6) Do I have to be at the auction live to bid?
A6) Every auction has a large volume of on site AND on line bidders that participate using a 3rd party service
–Proxibid.com. We literally have bidders that join our events from across North America and the World.
Bidders can leave Pre-bids or bid right along with the live crowd and hear every word the auctioneer says.

Q7) When can the items scheduled for auction be viewed?
A7) The week of the sale items for auction are continually listed through proxibid.com. The day before
every auction is a preview day for bidders to come on site to touch, feel and operate the items for sale up
to there comfort level.

Q8) Do I have to take my items with me the day of the sale.
A8) Customers generally have until the Wednesday following the auction to remove items from the sale site.
On larger items with unique logistical circumstances extended storage can be arranged in some instances.
